DEVILBEND GOLF CLUB
The course was in a great condition
and the weather a bit warm but ok
for golf. Only 64 entrants took part
which was down a little on prior
years.
The winners today, were in "A" Grade, R Searl from Devilbend
off 13 with 36 pts. In "B" Grade,
the winner was I MacKenzie also
from Devilbend, off 28 with 38pts.

The next game of golf is to be
held at the Flinders Golf Club on
MONDAY 13th FEBRUARY 2012. It
is a 4BBB Stableford event.

The entries for the Regis AVGU
Championships on the 11-16th November
are nearly closed. The entry form is
on our website. However we will need quite a few volunteers to make
this Championship a success and it
depends on our Association to make it so.

The Mornington Peninsula Veteran Golfers Association is affiliated with the Victorian Veteran Golfers Association who, along with the other six States and two Territories is affiliated with the Australian Veteran Golfers Union. The M.P.V.G.A. was formulated as a body in 1982. It is one of 21 Districts affiliated with the V.V.G.A. and as at the end of 2008, there were no less than 4,540 registered Victorian golfers aged 55 years and over. To cater for its own 400 plus members, the M.P.V.G.A.
provides some 14 quality courses where local, veteran aged players are able to play golf and form great friendships amongst those in their own age group.
