Terrific! A record number of members, namely 154, turned up for a game at Flinders, when the weather forecast was in the low 30's. What a relief that the weather bureau forecast was a little high and the temperature only reached the mid/high 20's with a slight breeze. Ideal conditions for golf.
A great team effort was put together by Don Brown (Cape Schanck) and Len Ludlam (Devil Bend) who scored 50 points. A little unlucky were the three pairs for the Runners-Up prizes with 48 points. Perhaps the highlight for the day was the Hole-in-One by John Tullberg at the short but difficult 12th hole. Great shot.
