The November 10 event at Cerberus saw a solid field of 64 players take part in a “Shot-Gun Start”.
Because of several “no shows” and cancellations, a normal hit off could perhaps have applied, but the initial field of almost 80 necessitated captain Ian making a move in this direction. However of those who did play, once again it showed that “local knowledge” is a help, with Cerberus 13 handicapper Geoff Smith taking the “A” grade hon-ours.
Also two of the runners-up were from Cerberus — including our Treasurer Ken Walker, plus new member B. Fellows.
“B” grade winner was Rob Morrison (26) from Safety Beach with a great 42 points.
